About Us

St. Christopher's helps teens with emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities by providing a residential program encompassing comprehensive therapeutic, social, and family services coordinated with special education schooling.

St. Christopher’s team of more than 200 people serves more than 170 resident youths on three campuses, plus 160 day students at the Greenburgh Academy. Our primary campus and home for more than 100 years is an 8-acre site in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. It encompasses the Clark Academy (middle and high school), seven residential cottages, and other facilities.

In Valhalla on the 38-acre Jennie Clarkson campus, we have five residential cottages and the REACH Academy. In New Windsor (Orange County), we run a 22-acre site home to the Kaplan Career Academy and four residential cottages.

St. Christopher's is committed to educating students in four pillars of human and social development: academic study, social responsibility, character development, and personal accountability. We are equally committed to helping families create and maintain a safe, nurturing home environment for their children.
