Programs and Services
Each student is different and brings his or her unique personality to our educational and residential programs.
In respecting each student's individuality and potential, and to achieve the best results for each student, the programs of St. Christopher and the Greenburgh North Castle (GNC) School District work together to create a safe and supportive structure for youngsters. We provide an environment where there is continuous coordination between school personnel and the professionals providing residential, medical, clinical, and social services. This coordination is particularly important when serving youths who require intensive services and a high level of supervision.
Planning and coordination of services for each student is conducted by a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, guidance counselors, psychologists, social workers, cottage counselors, and activities staff. The primary objective of residential placement is to assist young people with their educational and therapeutic needs and to allow them to return to the care of their families as soon as possible.
